Keep them coming. With less than six days to go before the Royal Rumble, there are several spots left to go to fill in all sixty spots in the show’s namesake matches. That being said, there is still quite a bit of time left to set things up and WWE knows how to put them together in bunches. That was the case again this week on Monday Night Raw, as more spots were filled.
One of the best things about WWE today is that they have so much talent to pick from to reach the sixty names necessary to fill up both Royal Rumble matches. Both Monday Night Raw and SmackDown have so many choices that it can actually be a bit difficult to pick the wrestlers, especially when you add in the surprise entrants. Now though, another handful of names have been added.
Four more men were added to the Royal Rumble this week on Monday Night Raw, bringing the total number of entrants to sixteen. This week’s show saw John Morrison, Sheamus, Mustafa Ali and Edge added to the field. Ali announced that he was replacing the injured Kofi Kingston in the match. Edge was a surprise entrant as he has not wrestled since April due to a torn tricep.
Some of the entrants were active on the show. Check out what they were up to:
Opinion: The Royal Rumble is really starting to come together and that is one of the better things to see as we move forward towards one of the bigger shows of the year. I like having a good batch of the names available for surprises as waiting for the countdown to find out who is next is a great feeling. Hopefully we get some awesome surprises on Sunday, but what we have gotten so far is rather good.
