Erick Rowan vs. Luke Harper Added to “Backlash 2017”

One more, just in case. The “Backlash 2017” card is mostly set up but there’s always room for one more grudge match. In this case it’s a pair of power guys who have been feuding on and off for weeks on “Smackdown Live”, in addition to having a long history between them. Now they get to face off on pay per view.

On this week’s “Talking Smack”, Erick Rowan vs. Luke Harper was announced for this Sunday’s pay per view. Rowan returned to “Smackdown Live” last month and almost immediately started fighting with Harper again. Harper lost to Rowan on last week’s show and it’s already time for a rematch.

Opinion: There’s nothing wrong with this but I’m not sure how much interest the match is going to draw. Neither is all that interest, especially when Harper has lost so many big matches. Rowan isn’t all that interesting in the first place so putting them together might not be the best idea in the world.
