Well that probably hurt. Wrestling is a physical sport and it can included some rather dangerous moments. No matter how well trained or experienced a wrestler may be, there is always an element of danger in what they are going to do. It does not help when the wrestlers try something that makes things even more over the top than usual, which was the case again this weekend with a former WWE star.

According to Wrestling Observer Radio, former WWE star Enzo Amore was knocked unconscious at a SWE event in Texas on Saturday night. During the match, Amore took a DDT on the floor and was legitimately knocked out, resulting in him having to go to the hospital. There are no other details on his condition, though Amore did thank fans for their support on Twitter Sunday morning.

Amore is a former WWE star, wrestling on the main roster from 2016-2018 before being released over issues involving a sexual assault charge. Since then, Amore has mainly focused on his music career, though he has recently returned to wresting on the independent scene. He has not officially appeared for a major promotion since his time with WWE ended.

Amore certainly has talent. Check out what he did in WWE:

Enzo and Cass interrupt The Dudley Boyz: Raw, April 4, 2016

Enzo Amore, Cedric Alexander & Gran Metalik vs. Noam Dar, Tony Nese & Drew Gulak: Raw, Sept. 4, 2017

Enzo Amore vs. Tony Nese: WWE 205 Live, Dec. 12, 2017

Opinion: That’s never good to hear as any injury involving someone’s head can be rather scary. Hopefully Amore is completely fine as you never want to see someone get hurt. Amore is someone with more charisma than he knows what to do with and if he can keep his head on straight and drop a lot of his baggage, he’ll get another shot in a national promotion someday.

What do you think of Amore? Will he ever wrestle in a major promotion again? Let us know in the comments below.
