This week on SmackDown Live, Samoa Joe earned the last spot in the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match by defeating Daniel Bryan and Big Cass in a triple threat match. The match was originally advertised as Samoa Joe vs. Bryan in a singles match but Big Cass was added earlier in the night. Samoa Joe joins Braun Strowman, Finn Balor, Bobby Roode, Kevin Owens, The Miz, Rusev and a member of New Day to be announced in the ladder match.
They set this match up in an awesome way with one of the best promos WWE has had in months. Check this out.
Opinion: I love seeing Samoa Joe in this match as he really does come off as someone who could pull it off. That’s what WWE tries to present for everyone involved but you can cut off several names as realistic options. Samoa Joe is one of those guys who comes off as an actual monster who could win any given match he’s in. That makes him all the more dangerous and the idea of him carrying around a briefcase is a very intriguing thought.
