Double Shot. Here’s Why Steve Austin Is Appearing On Raw Reunion.

Killing two birds with one appearance. I don’t think it’s going to be any secret that next week’s Raw Reunion is going to be a big deal. The event is going to feature a ton of stars that have not been seen in a very long time, though some of them are much bigger deals than others. That would include one of the biggest stars of all time, though there might be another reason for him to show up.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Austin is likely appearing on the show to promote his new series Straight Up Steve Austin. The series will be debuting on August 12 on the USA Network after Monday Night Raw, meaning that Austin will probably be promoting the show while at Raw Reunion. Straight Up Steve Austin is an interview series that will feature Austin talking to and doing things with various celebrities.

Opinion: There’s nothing wrong with doing something like this, though Austin plugging something outside of his podcast does feel a little strange. That being said, Austin is the kind of star who can do whatever he wants and never get a second thought about it because he’s earned the right over the years. The series doesn’t sound bad either so maybe it can help things out.
