They deserve some attention. The WWE Network has changed the way wrestling fans look at the sport. With so much material, both modern and historic, the Network has made things so much easier. Now you can see things that you never saw before for a low price and all in one place. That’s the kind of thing wrestling fans have been wanting for years and now we are getting a cool addition.
WWE has had a lot of developmental territories over the years, with Ohio Valley Wrestling being the most famous pre-NXT version. Their 2002 class is still the stuff of legends, but there are other developmental territories out there. This includes Florida Championship Wrestling, which produced Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns and many more. Now their legacy is getting some attention.
During this week’s edition of the Bump, it was announced that a documentary on the history of Florida Championship Wrestling will be airing on the WWE Network on March 8, after Elimination Chamber. Florida Championship Wrestling served as the official WWE developmental program from October 2007 until August 2012, when the promotion was transformed into NXT.
The show is always worth seeing. Check out the Bump, plus some FCW action:
Opinion: This is where I love the Network because where else are you going to see something like this? Florida Championship Wrestling is one of those places that you don’t hear too many details about and there could be a few rather interesting bits in there. If nothing else, it could be interesting to hear what some of the talent has to say on their experiences at such an important time in their careers.
