There’s the change. We are officially in a new era of WWE as the company has officially been sold to Endeavor. It means that Vince McMahon is not in complete control of WWE for the first time in decades, meaning that for once, he actually has a boss. As a result, more changes could be made and now we know something about a change that seems to have been made.

Earlier this week, a story emerged that Triple H was in charge of WWE creative, with McMahon having no role in the department. According to Sports Illustrated, Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel is behind the change. Emanuel is said to believe that employees need to do their assigned job, which would mean Triple H running the company’s creative. It is not clear if McMahon will return to creative in the future.
There is a history between the two. Check out Triple H and McMahon in WWE over the years:
Opinion: It’s hard to fathom that McMahon seems to be away from the day to day operations of what you see on WWE TV but that seems to be the new reality. So far things seem to be going well and hopefully we get to see how well things can go under the new regime. At the end of the day, WWE certainly seems to be doing good business at the moment and it would be great to see that continue.
