The schedule, it is a-changin. With the Brand Split taking place last year, the pay per view schedule has been all over the place in the last year. Shows change from “Monday Night Raw” to “Smackdown Live” almost at the drop of a hat with different shows being added and dropped all over the place. That’s the case again as we have another schedule change.
According to Wrestlinginc.com, “Clash of the Champions 2017” will take place on December 17 in Boston, Massachusetts. There is no word on if the show will be a “Monday Night Raw” or “Smackdown Live” event, though the announcement came at last night’s “Monday Night Raw” show. Last year’s show took place in September.
Here’s a little preview of last year’s edition:
Clash of Champions Kickoff: Sept. 25, 2016
Opinion: I’m not sure what to expect from this show, though it seems a bit redundant to have a show built around champions when that’s the case with almost every pay per view. This Sunday’s “Summerslam 2017” features eight title matches and all of the titles aren’t even being defended. It’s somewhat better than any run of the mill generic pay per view but not by much.
Which brand do you want this show to be? Which pay per views do you want to be added to the calendar? Let us know in the comments below.
