That is worse. There are all kinds of injuries in wrestling and you never want to see someone put on the shelf in any way. What matters the most is finding out just how bad things are and then getting them back to full health as soon as possible. That can be trickier than expected at times though and unfortunately that is what has happened again this time.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Roman Reigns Reaches New Milestone (Yes Another One)
This week on SmackDown, WWE announced that Charlotte had suffered a knee injury and would be out of action for about nine months. According to PWInsider.com, Charlotte is scheduled to have surgery in the coming weeks. The injury is described as “likely worse than a torn ACL” with other injuries being likely. WWE has not clarified the details of Charlotte’s injury.
Charlotte is great when she is healthy. Check out what she can do in the ring:
Opinion: It was pretty clear that the injury was bad but I don’t think it was clear just how bad things were. For Charlotte to be out of action for most of the next year, meaning she is going to miss all kinds of major events, is quite the devastating blow and now we have nothing to do but wait until she is able to get back into the ring. That might take a long time and unfortunately there is not much else that can be done.
What do you think of Charlotte’s recent time in WWE? How will she do when she gets back? Let us know in the comments below.
