That’s a bit different. AEW has become quite the force in professional wrestling in a pretty short amount of time. The company is coming up on its second anniversary with Double Or Nothing 2021 this coming weekend. That means the show needs to feel like a special event, which is where the main event comes in. Now we know what is coming, but it is not going to be the same as before.

One of the major main events of this year’s Double Or Nothing will be the second Stadium Stampede, with the Pinnacle facing the Inner Circle. The match will take place inside TIAA Bank Field, the home of the Jacksonville Jaguars. The first edition of the match was held last year during the beginning of the Coronavirus pandemic, so there will be a change made this year.

According to Fightful Select, this year’s Stadium Stampede will feature a “significant” live element and a “unique viewing experience.” There is no word on what this will mean or if there will be fans present for the match. The previous edition of the match took place in an empty stadium and was taped the night before the show aired. It is not clear how much of the match will be taped in advance.

This is going to be memorable. Check out what we might be getting to see:

AEW Stadium Stampede match Highlights

Opinion: This could be interesting, as I can’t imagine the fans sitting in the stadium for the entire show and then watching one match. That might not be the most logical way to go, which makes me think that we are going to see another piece of the match taking place either in Daily’s Place or in a setting with a small amount of fans. Hopefully the match works out though, because there is nothing like it in wrestling today.
