Change of plans? There is a lot of content on any given edition of Monday Night Raw. The show runs for three hours every single week and that is the kind of show that is going to require a lot of effort for each episode. Some of the stories or ideas that are presented on any given week are going to be less popular than others, but now it seems that one has been delayed for at least a little while.
Alexa Bliss’ doll Lily did not appear on this week’s edition of Monday Night Raw. Bliss mentioned her by name but said that Lily was in a time out and would not be on this week’s show. There was no further direct mention of Lily and she did not appear. Bliss went on to face and defeat Nia Jax in a singles match, while also having a match made with Shayna Baszler for Sunday’s Hell in a Cell pay per view.
Lily made her debut after WrestleMania 37 at Bliss’ side in Alexa’s Playground. Bliss would eventually say that the doll had been influencing her for her entire life and was causing fire to attack various people. Last week on Monday Night Raw, Baszler called Lily a stupid doll, prompting Lily to begin stalking her, including appearing in a mirror which Baszler broke to end the show.
This is one that kind of has to be seen to be believed. Check out Lily’s time in WWE:
Opinion: I have no reason to believe that Lily is actually gone long term but there is a chance that things are being toned down a bit after last week’s show. The ending of the show was not exactly well received and it might be better to take things down a few notches. I wouldn’t be complaining if the idea was done for good, but it really would not surprise me if Lily was back again next week.
