Say that again? Back in November, WWE announced that a series of changes would be coming to the company in the near future. One of them would be the return of some big names, including Kevin Owens. After several months away from the ring due to recovering from knee surgeries, Owens is coming back pretty soon, and now we know a few more details.
According to Wrestling Observer Radio, Owens will be returning as a face, and possibly as the anti-Mr. Perfect. This week on Monday Night Raw, Owens was shown in a bowling alley, where he rolled a gutter ball, possibly in reference to Mr. Perfect’s famous vignettes. Owens will be back as a face, which he has never done before in WWE. He also said that he would be back to WWE in about a month, meaning he will be back in time for WrestleMania.
I think you know where this is going. Check out Owens bowling:
Opinion: I can certainly get behind the idea of Owens as a face, which isn’t something that has been tried before. He’s more than capable of having great matches and with the awesome talking behind them, Owens is going to have a heck of a run. It’s high time that he get back into the World Title scene and now that he won’t have everyone around him being considered more important, it could work very well.
What do you want to see Owens doing? Will he be World Champion this year? Let us know in the comments below.
