Only Him: Cody Rhodes Missed This Weekend’s WWE Live Events For Very Specific Reason

That won’t be typical. There are all kinds of WWE events throughout the year but only some of them are televised. While the televised matches are the ones that get the most attention, live events can make for some very special moments as well, as the wrestlers are able to do things they would not do otherwise. However, a top WWE star was absent from some recent live events for a rather unique reason.

According to Fightful Select, Cody Rhodes did not appear over the weekend at WWE live events. This is due to Rhodes’ wife Brandi opening her yoga studio in Atlanta, with Cody missing the events to appear at the opening. There is nothing to suggest any backstage heat on Cody for missing the events. Cody was present this week at Monday Night Raw and set up a match with Damian Priest at WWE Crown Jewel.

Opinion: That might sound like a bit of a stretch but at the end of the day, WWE has enough of a roster to get by without Cody for a night or two. Cody is a lot of things including a husband, so getting to be present for something special for his wife is a good thing. Cody is going to be around for a lot of things for WWE and having him miss something like this is hardly a terrible situation.
