We’re not doing that. We are just over a month away from Survivor Series and that means WWE is in the middle of getting ready for one of the biggest shows of the year. The show has evolved over the years with a variety of different formats. WWE has mixed things up again in recent years but now apparently a rumored combination of two ideas will not be taking place.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: They Have Plans: Here Are Some Major Matches WWE Is Planning For Its Bigger Shows

Last year at Survivor Series, WWE presented the first ever main roster WarGames match. This comes after multiple years of Monday Night Raw vs. SmackDown centered cards. In recent days, a rumor began floating around that this year’s WarGames match would be a Monday Night Raw vs. SmackDown match, but according to F4WOnline.com, this will not be the case, though a WarGames match will still be taking place.

They have done something similar before. Check out the two ideas on their own:

Opinion: That sounds like a good idea, as the Monday Night Raw vs. SmackDown story has been one of the most overdone ideas that WWE has produced in a long time. The idea of WarGames is to have the most personal feud taking place in a violent structure. That only works so well with the battle for brand supremacy, especially when there are personal feuds that could be put inside the structure instead.
