He’s In: WWE Stable Gains Surprising New Member

Welcome to the team. Stables are one of the most useful things in all of wrestling as they allow several wrestlers to appear on television at the same time. This allows them to share similar characteristics while also giving them something to do together. It can be a big moment when someone joins an established stable and we have seen that again over the past few weeks.

Last week on Monday Night Raw, Akira Tozawa was shown training with the Alpha Academy. This week, Tozawa appeared at ringside during an Academy match while wearing the team’s gear. Tozawa also wrestled a match with the Academy’s Maxxine Dupri in his corner. While not confirmed, this would suggest that Tozawa has become an official part of the stable, with an official announcement being made in a YouTube exclusive clip.

Opinion: Sure why not. Tozawa is someone who has been hanging around WWE without something to do for what feels like years now so maybe this is the chance that he has been needing. At the end of the day, being a lackey in a stable is better than sitting around doing nothing so maybe WWE can find something for him to do. His first few appearances with the team have gone well so at least they are off to a good start.
