That’s something new. There are all kinds of ways to present a wrestler but some of them might not be entirely clear on face value. You can see some wrestlers doing things that might not make sense at first with the idea being explained later. That can make for some strange moments at first though and that is what we saw this week as a popular wrestler returned in a new way.
This week on Monday Night Raw, Nikki Cross participated in her first match on the show since July 17, teaming with Natalya in a losing effort to Piper Niven and Chelsea Green. Cross stood on the apron during the match and stared blankly ahead before leaving and walking to the back. Later in the night, she walked in front of General Manager Adam Pearce, not acknowledging anyone and blankly staring ahead.
This was odd. Check out the new style plus what Cross has done before:
Opinion: This is a story that could go in a few different directions and that makes it all the more interesting. I’m not sure what is going on with Cross but there is a chance that someone is influencing or controlling her in some way. That could open up a bunch of questions, but for now the big question seems to be what is wrong with her. At least she is doing something though, which is more than she has been doing on Monday Night Raw in recent months.
