One more time? Over the last ten years, there may not be a bigger What If than CM Punk. While he did become a main eventer and hold the WWE Championship for over a year, he also walked away from WWE when he could have been a big deal for a very long time to come. It isn’t crazy to think that he could still be a main eventer in WWE today, but he might be looking into getting into another ring again.
Since he left WWE, Punk has moved on to a few different fields, including acting and writing comic books. Now that he is out of wrestling, Punk seems to be doing whatever he wants and that is not something that a lot of people get to do. He seems to be happy, but there is one thing that he has tried his hand at which did not work out so well. While it is not for sure, he might be trying something else one more time.
According to TSN’s Aaron Bronsteter, Punk is still part of the USADA drug testing pool, suggesting that he may still be interested in fighting again. Punk has fought twice in the UFC, both times in losing efforts, and UFC President Dana White said that Punk would be unlikely to fight in the UFC again. There has been no word on Punk being interested in fighting again, whether in the UFC or not.
Based on the most recent USADA testing history update, USADA has not tested Conor McGregor since January and CM Punk has submitted more samples than four UFC champions, three of whom have competed in 2020.

Punk’s time in the UFC did not go so well. Check out his better days elsewhere:
Opinion: I would like to see a really good reason for Punk to get back in the cage as it did not go well the first two times around. Punk getting into the cage was impressive enough, but he was coming in way behind the eight ball. He is older, banged up from wrestling, has nowhere near the experience and was thrown in at a high level. His losses are completely understandable, but why do it all over again?
Will Punk fight again? Will he ever return to WWE? Let us know in the comments below.
