The hits just keep on coming. Every now and then, you see a wrestler who just can’t make things work. Maybe it has something to do with the company, often times WWE, or maybe it is something else but for whatever reason, they just can’t break through to the next level. This can be incredibly frustrating for everyone involved and it seems to be happening again to a popular wrestler.
Samoa Joe is one of the most well regarded wrestlers in the WWE today. He has been in the business for over twenty years and is a multiple time World Champion outside of WWE. However, that success has only somewhat followed him to WWE, where he has often come up short in big matches. He has been dealing with a variety of injuries as of late, but this time it’s a different problem.
WWE.com has announced that Samoa Joe has been suspended for thirty days due to a violation of the company’s Wellness Policy. There is no word on what the substance was that caused the suspension. This comes as Samoa Joe is out of action with his second concussion in less than a month. It also comes after he was rumored to be suspended for a Wellness Policy violation earlier this month. It is not clear if that was an incorrect rumor or if there was a delay in announcing the violation.
Samoa Joe can do a lot when he’s in the ring. Check out some of his better moments:
Opinion: This is quite the surprise, but it would seem that WWE delayed the announcement from the earlier rumored violation. Maybe the injury is made up to cover the suspension or maybe it is just a coincidence, but it could go either way with something like this. At least he was going to be off of television in the first place, but that doesn’t make the absence any better.
