The Boss' Daughter: Two Time WWE Champion Ordered To Avoid Stephanie McMahon

The legend continues. Wrestling has a strange history as people can remember what took place in front of the camera, but then there is an entirely different world backstage. The line between reality and fantasy can be difficult to discern at times, leading to all kinds of stories taking on lives of their own. That was the case with two prominent names, and now someone else has something to say about it.

During a recent edition of his Story Time With Dutch Mantell podcast, Dutch Mantell revealed that it was known backstage in WWE that Randy Savage was to stay away from Stephanie McMahon. While Mantell did not know why this was the case, he speculated that it might have been due to McMahon having a crush on Savage and Vince McMahon wanting them apart. Mantell went on to say he believed that Savage and McMahon were involved in some way, but he did NOT know if it was true. Rumors of Savage and Stephanie being involved, including when Stephanie was underage, have gone on for years but never been proven.

Opinion: This is one of the biggest urban legends in wrestling and so many wrestlers and wrestling personalities have hinted that it was true that it almost makes me believe it is true. Maybe it is just a big coincidence and something that was completely innocent and turned into a fictional story, but it is hard to ignore all of the people who talk about it. Either way, this is the latest fuel to the fire and I can’t imagine it will be the last.
