That’s what the Man does. Becky Lynch has gone off like a rocket in recent months, going from a star to one of the stars of the company. That kind of a push can turn someone into a very different kind of wrestler and so far Lynch has handled it to near perfection. There is more to her career than just that though, including a time where she wasn’t exactly who she said she was and it got her a nice job.
Lynch was recently interviewed by FOX News where she talked about her career prior to WWE. This included time as a stunt woman on the show Vikings, which she got by lying to producers. Lynch was on a hiatus from wrestling at the time and looking for acting work. She applied to the TV show Vikings, which filmed in Ireland. She was asked if she could do stunts, which she said she could. Since she actually couldn’t do such work, Lynch went to a wrestling school where she was told she could make it in WWE. Lynch applied and wound up getting signed.
Those lessons certainly paid off. Here’s Lynch’s latest effort on SmackDown Live:
Opinion: It’s not like a lot of people haven’t altered their resumes to get a better spot before. That’s what Lynch did here and it seems to have worked for her. She’s become one of the biggest stars in the wrestling world at the moment and if that’s the kind of thing that helped get her here, so be it. Lynch could wind up main eventing WrestleMania this year, so she seems to have done something right.
