He’s banged up too. There are all kinds of ways for a wrestler to be injured and put on the shelf. You never know when you are going to see someone get hurt and no matter how much planning or training a wrestler has done can prevent everything. At some point everyone is going to get hurt and that seems to have taken place again with one of the biggest stars in WWE.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Never Before: Special First Time Ever Match Set For Next Week’s SmackDown
Last weekend at Summerslam, Cody Rhodes defeated Brock Lesnar, with Lesnar shaking Rhodes’ hand after the match. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Lesnar was injured early in the match but was able to complete everything as scheduled. There is no word on the nature of Lesnar’s injury or how bad it might be. Lesnar is expected to be on hiatus from WWE for the rest of the year.

Opinion: Lesnar being hurt is certainly not a good thing but at the same time, it might not make that much of a difference to WWE. If he is going to be out of action for four months whether he is injured or not, he should have more than enough time to get healed up. Hopefully he is able to be at full strength sooner than later, but at the moment he should be fine enough when he gets back.
