According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter by way of Wrestlinginc.com, there are indeed plans for the two groups to face off at some point in the future, though the kind of match isn’t clear. At the moment, one of the big issues has been bringing together Becky Lynch and Charlotte, who are on different brands at this point. There is also talk of a singles match between Ronda Rousey and Charlotte, but Stephanie McMahon is a possible opponent as well.
Here’s the showdown that started it all:

Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch & Bayley confront Ronda Rousey, M.Shafir & J. Duke: Sept. 5, 2017
Opinion: Please don’t put McMahon in there. Please. For once let the women do something without her being involved to add something else to her already way too long resume. This is a potentially very special moment and the last thing that I want to see is it being all about McMahon, which is the case in anything she’s involved in.
