Oh…..no? For those of you who don’t remember “Wrestlemania XXXII”, the Rock came out before the main event, messed around with a flamethrower, talked for a long time, announced the record attendance, talked to the Wyatt Family, beat Erick Rowan in a match and left half an hour after he came out. If you don’t think that’s very interesting, you’re not alone.
“I gotta call him out on this one. His segment had lasted for about 30 minutes and you could feel the energy just drain out of 100,000 people. He’s the most electrifying guy in sports entertainment — and he’s the biggest movie star in the world right now — but that one time, Rock … You didn’t know when to go home and you should have.”

I was actually in AT&T Stadium for “Wrestlemania XXXII” and Austin isn’t wrong. The segment was fun but it was near the end of a very long night with a lot of stuff that had already wore the audience down. As exciting as Rock is, having him stand around and mess with a flamethrower isn’t all that interesting. I’m with Austin on this one but it wasn’t Rock’s fault.
