Austin Aries has a New Look

I did an A-Double take. Austin Aries left WWE in a pretty big surprise earlier this month, allegedly due to being unhappy with how things were going during his run with the company. Since he’s left, Aries has already changed the way he looks in a fairly dramatic way and has debuted his new look.

Aries posted a new picture to his Twitter account, showing a shaved head and a clean shaven face. He referred to himself as Pitbull’s twin and made a mention of the Kurt Angle/Jason Jordan storyline. There is no word on when/where Aries will wrestle again but any TV or pay per view appearances must wait until his ninety day no compete clause expires.

Opinion: If this is what Aries wants to do, good for him. I have no idea what he was thinking during his time in WWE but if he wasn’t happy and WWE was cool with releasing him, at least it was a pretty clean split. He’ll go back to the indy circuit and be a huge star and I’m sure we’ll see him again elsewhere.
