Becky Lynch and UFC Champion Feud on Twitter

When worlds collide. The Women’s Revolution has been taking place throughout the sports world, including in the Ultimate Fighting Championships. One of the biggest stars in mixed martial arts is Cris Cyborg Justino, who hasn’t lost a fight in over twelve years. However, one of the top female wrestlers in WWE has been calling her out on Twitter.

Becky Lynch calls out people who “get handed a lot of things” in WWE: June 18, 2017

Over the course of the last week, Becky Lynch and Justino have been going back and forth. Justino originally replied to Triple H’s Tweet inviting Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Conor McGregor to “Monday Night Raw” while taking a shot at Lynch in the process. Lynch responded by pointing out how infrequently Justino fought and everything went on from there. Here are some highlights of the lengthy exchange:

Opinion: I doubt this leads anywhere but almost anytime a WWE performer can get attention from a more mainstream athlete, it’s a good thing. Lynch would likely get destroyed in a real fight with Justino but she can more than hold her own on Twitter, which is likely as far as this goes.
