Well, it was better. To say “Smackdown Live” hasn’t had the best audiences in the world as of late is an understatement. People just haven’t been interested in the last few months and that problem doesn’t seem to be going away at the moment. However, that doesn’t mean the TV audience is going down as well. So how did this week’s episode do?

According to Showbuzz Daily, this week’s “Smackdown Live” drew 2.542 million viewers, which is up 1.3% from last week’s 2.510 million. This week’s show was headlined by Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn in a grudge match set up earlier in the night. Shane McMahon ran in after the main event as well and closed the show staring Owens down.

Opinion: At this point any kind of an improvement is an upgrade and that’s all WWE can hope for. People just aren’t interested in “Smackdown Live” at the moment and the horrible audiences back that up. If Owens vs. Zayn can help draw a slightly bigger audience, take what you can get.
