Their future isn’t looking great. With so much content all over WWE programming, there is going to be something that gets less attention than the rest. You have Monday Night Raw and SmackDown as the flagship shows but at the same time you have NXT becoming a huge deal in short order. However, there are other shows going on too and one of them is not looking as good.

Ever since it debuted, 205 Live has not been the most well treated show in the WWE lineup. The action has been good for the most part and the wrestlers certainly work hard, but they are facing a climb up a tall mountain starting in loose rocks. The show airs after SmackDown and most of the fans tend to leave the arena rather than watching the show. It turns out that the remaining fans won’t have anything to watch for the time being.

According to Wrestlinginc.com, there will be no new episodes of 205 Live taped for the rest of the year as the December 20 and December 27 episodes will be Best Of editions, featuring matches from earlier in the year. There is no word on if there will be new shows taped starting with the January 3 episode. This marks the fourth time that 205 Live has not been taped since October.

The show is good when it airs. Check out some of the better recent moments:

Raul Mendoza vs. Angel Garza: WWE 205 Live, Dec. 6, 2019

Opinion: I always feel sorry for the wrestlers who are out there working hard but are never going to be able to do anything in this situation. The fans do not care and have left the arena when the show starts. Why should they stay anyway? WWE has barely promoted the show in the first place and there is little reason to get behind it. Yes the action is good, but so is the action on other shows. The wrestlers are trying, but they’ve been fighting a losing battle for a long time now.
