It’s a touchy situation. Earlier today, news broke that Arn Anderson’s firing came as a result of allowing Alicia Fox to wrestle at a house show while intoxicated. That certainly wasn’t the most logical thing in the world to do, but it turns out that people are taking either side in the situation. What wasn’t mentioned was what happened to Fox, who has virtually disappeared in this whole situation.
According to Fightful.com, Fox was offered a trip to rehab by WWE but refused, instead basically going AWOL from the company with almost no one knowing where she is. Fox’s last match in WWE was a house show on February 10 with her last televised match taking place on the February 4 episode of Monday Night Raw. Fox has also reacted to the incident with an Instagram post:
Here’s Fox in some better days. Check out something she did rather well:
Opinion: This is a situation that doesn’t sound like it’s going to end well. I don’t know what is going on with Fox but at the moment it seems that she needs help but isn’t ready to accept it. If that’s the case, there isn’t much that can be done as nothing is going to get better until she’s ready for that to be the case. Hopefully things get better for her because this isn’t good for anyone.
What do you think of Fox’s time in WWE? What else could she do in the company? Let us know in the comments below.
