Alexa Bliss Suffers Injury During Backlash Match

That’s never good to see. Unfortunately, as entertaining as wrestling can be, there’s always the chance of an injury. It might be a move gone wrong or someone making a mistake, but the chance is always there.

It can happen from anyone to the biggest star in the promotion all the way down to the lowest of the low on the card. They can happen at anytime and unfortunately, it seems to have taken place tonight at WWE’s Backlash pay per view.

Maybe this did it?

As announced on WWE.com, Alexa Bliss suffered a shoulder injury during her match at tonight’s pay per view. At the moment, there is no word on how severe the injury is or what happened to cause the injury. There is also no word on how long she might be out with the only detail being that she is currently undergoing further testing. Bliss challenged Raw Women’s Champion Nia Jax for the title at Backlash in a losing effort, eventually being pinned in about ten minutes after a Samoan drop.

Opinion: I didn’t notice an injury during the match so maybe it’s not as severe as it could be. At the same time, I would have said the same thing about Finn Balor during his match at Summerslam against Seth Rollins. There’s also the chance that this is a storyline, which would be quite the relief. Bliss is one of the better characters on Monday Night Raw at the moment and it would be horrible to lose her at the moment, especially as a shoulder injury can be particularly nasty.
