That’s a great place to go. Wrestling has been taken in a slightly different direction in the last week and a half as Kenny Omega has become the new AEW World Champion. That on its own is a big change of pace, but this time around it means quite a bit more, with Omega showing up on the following week’s Impact Wrestling show for a major speech. It turns out that there might be something else coming.

The idea of someone coming over to the other show is certainly a twist and something that can be a little difficult to predict. Omega going elsewhere is hardly something new, as he is already the reigning AAA Mega Champion, giving him two World Titles. That is hard enough to see taking place, but now we might be seeing another jewel being added to Omega’s championship crown.

According to PWInsider.com, Impact Wrestling is considering Omega vs. Impact Wrestling World Champion Rich Swann for some point in 2021. This comes after Swann was not allowed to go into the parking lot where Omega’s bus was parked despite being the World Champion. There is no word on when the match will be taking place or if both titles will be on the line.

They are some major stars. Check out the two champions doing their thing:

Opinion: This is not quite the biggest surprise and I would be nearly stunned if they didn’t present Omega vs. Swann at some point. Omega picking up one title after another is an interesting story and I’m curious to see which titles he goes after in the near future. You really could go multiple ways here and this could be quite fascinating with various different promotions getting involved.
