As reported, Ryder faced off against Mike Kanellis in a dark match before Raw this week. During the match, Ryder is believed to have suffered a knee injury.
Ryder mentioned in a tweet that he is flying to Orlando and will miss the Greatest Royal Rumble on Friday to get an MRI. Check out his tweets below:
This pic is from last night b4 my match with @RealMikeBennett on #MainEvent. We treated it like we were wrestling on #Raw. Unfortunately, I suffered a knee injury. While the rest of the roster is flying to Saudi Arabia 2day for #WWEGRR, I’m flying back to Orlando to get a MRI. pic.twitter.com/YkW1fwOElR

Update:
In an update to the story, Ryder confirmed today that he has suffered MCL, ACL and calf muscle strains but nothing is completely torn. There will be no surgery needed. Ryder thanked everyone for reaching out and said it is time for Raw to get Zacked. Here is the tweet:
Got some good news this morning…MCL/ACL/Calf muscle strains…nothing completely torn…no surgery will be needed. Thanks to everyone who reached out. It’s time for #Raw to get #Zacked!

With that said, it appears Ryder will be back in action within the coming weeks. He will still likely miss the Greatest Royal Rumble, but we are sure in the meantime he’ll be preparing to have a massive Raw return.
