Former WWE Superstar Enzo Amore recently took to his Instagram account to post a cryptic message to clarify what his situation with the wrestling and sports entertainment industries is right now.

Amore recently popped back up on social media, where he removed all his Instagram posts and added a Denzel Washington quote to his story on the app.

So what happened?

Amore would make his return to the app today where he shared a photograph of a pair of shoes dangling on some electric wire with the caption “It’s been real.”

This seems to be Amore physically and symbolically saying he is hanging up the boots and he is done with WWE. Check out the post:

His bio also reads “T H A N K Y O U. Believe half of what you see, and none of what you hear.”

While we aren’t exactly sure what the status is of the criminal investigation involving Amore is, it does seem that this is the former Champion’s way of saying he isn’t returning to the squared circle.

Below we’ve featured the debut of Amore on the main roster, alongside Big Cass. Here they interrupted The Dudley Boyz post-WrestleMania:

What are your thoughts after learning this? Should he have ended his career?
