Watch: Sami Callihan on His Name, NXT, Independent Wrestling

Popular independent wrestler and former NXT superstar Sami Callihan was interviewed about his time in WWE, his names in wrestling and his thoughts on independent wrestling.

Callihan was interviewed by up and coming interviewer Chris Van Vleit. Callihan was very charismatic as he spoke passionately about a number of topics. The video is shown down below and is highly recommended by us. He explains why his last name always seems to be related to a bird species, why he left NXT and if he would ever go back and what he thinks of being called an ‘independent wrestler’ and the term ‘indie wrestling’ in general. He also answers a variety of other questions, before Vleit ends his interview with Callihan in a Mega Powers handshake.

For those who aren’t too familiar with Callihan, he was known as Solomon Crowe while he was in NXT. He had a different look than he does now, with spiked, bright red hair at times. If you are familiar at all with the independent circuit in the United States, we are sure you’ve seen or heard of Callihan.
