Video: Paige Addresses Neck Injury on ‘Raw’ Fallout Video

WWE uploaded a ‘Raw Fallout’ video to their official YouTube channel featuring Paige and her Absolution cohorts. Paige addressed her neck injury and spoke about the women’s Royal Rumble match.

The WWE Universe have been open in saying how devastating the entire sage with Paige has been. Following her recent return to WWE alongside then-NXT superstars Sonya DeVIlle and Mandy Rose, she was injured during a live event match.

This injury would prove devastating, leading to WWE eventually telling Paige her in-ring career is over. The injury has been likened to what happened with the ‘Rated R Superstar’ Edge, who had to retire due to a severe neck injury.

On the latest ‘Fallout’ episode, the British-born Superstar stood alongside DeVille and Rose to explain that the doctors won’t let her compete at the ‘Royal Rumble’ but she would still be there to support her allies.

It is worth noting that the former Divas Champion stayed in character– only saying as much as WWE had. This may likely be due to the company saving Paige’s retirement speech for ‘Raw‘ next week when the company celebrates its 25th anniversary- which happens to be how old Paige is.
