Two More Names Added to Men’s Royal Rumble Match

Two more down. With less than two weeks to go before the “2018 Royal Rumble”, the Royal Rumble lineups are needing to be filled. Coming into tonight the women’s match was just over halfway full while the men’s match had a third of the way full. We took another step towards filling the men’s lineup this week though as two more names were announced for the match.

As confirmed on this week’s episode of “Monday Night Raw”, both Titus O’Neil and Apollo Crews will be appearing in this year’s match. This will be O’Neil’s fourth appearance in a Royal Rumble and Crews’ second. These two names being added brings the total number of men’s participants up to twelve.

Opinion: These names might not mean anything but you have to have some kind of filler like this. They can go out and do their stuff for a few minutes, maybe have a memorable spot or two, and then be eliminated by a bigger name. There’s nothing wrong with that as you can’t have thirty big names in the match. Those bigger names need someone to throw out and Crews and O’Neil can fill those roles.
