SmackDown Live Superstar and the only WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal winner Naomi responded to a racist fan, explaining the struggles of dealing with racism on a daily basis.
Naomi took to her Twitter account to post several screenshots from a Twitter user with the handle @fightzone_ who replied to a tweet from WWE on the SmackDown Live match between Naomi and Natalya from this past week.
The user, who has now deleted his account, referenced Naomi as a ‘monkey’ and that she and another user should go back to Africa as America is not their country. Naomi had the following to say on her tweet:
“I deal with negativity and racism like this on a daily basis but I don’t allow it to bring me down. I encourage others who are experiencing the same or any type of bullying to be strong stay positive & not let the actions of others change who you are. #feeltheglow”
There was a lot of support for the former SmackDown Women’s Champion, as she showed an incredible fighting spirit in dealing with what many users are calling a faceless keyboard warrior.
