WWE released an article on their official website showcasing the top ten youngest Superstars in WWE history. Here they are.

10- Paige (21 years, 7 months, 21 days)

Divas Championship

Paige debuted the night after WrestleMania 30. Still the NXT Women’s Champion, nobody expected her to appear. She confronted then-Champion AJ Lee, who ordered a match for the Divas Championship.

Paige managed to reverse Lee’s Black Widow submission, landing the Paige Turner. She pinned Lee to capture the Divas Championship in her main roster debut match.

9. Rey Mysterio (21 years, 6 months, 27 days)

Cruiserweight Championship

Back on June 16, 1996, Mysterio made his WCW debut. There, he challenged Dean Malenko for the Cruiserweight Championship at The Great American Bash.

He was unsuccessful but would face Malenko again less than a month later, where he would finally capture the Championship.

8. 1-2-3 Kid (21 years, 5 months, 28 days)

World Tag Team Championship

1-2-3 Kid became a household name after his upset victory over an overconfident Razor Ramon on Raw, though he would soon find Championship gold when he aligned with Marty Janetty.

The duo defeated The Quebecers (Jacques & Pierre), who were managed by Johnny Polo to capture the World Tag Team Championship.

7. Essa Rios (21 years, 2 months)

Light Heavyweight Championship

On the February 13, 2000 edition of Sunday Night Heat, the Champion in Gillberg issued an open challenge, which Rios responded to.

In less than a minute, Rios had pinned Gillberg after a top rope moonsault to capture the Championship.

6. Hornswoggle (21 years, 1 month, 23 days)

Cruiserweight Championship

During The Great American Bash back in 2007, Hornswoggle defeated Jimmy Wang Yang, Shannon Moore, Funaki, Jamie Noble and Chavo Guerrero to become the Cruiserweight Champion.

Hornswoggle wasn’t even thought to be in the match by the other competitors, surprising them all when he left the ring with his new Championship.

Sadly, this was when the Championship was retired as WWE thought Hornswoggle was unable to defend it.

5. David Flair (20 years, 3 months, 29 days)

United States Championship

It was in January of 1999 when Flair made his debut in WCW at the Souled Out pay-per-view. Through a huge learning curve over the next two years, Flair developed into a fantastic wrestler.

Eventually, Flair was awarded the vacant United States Championship by “Slick Ric,” who was at that time the WCW President.

4. Kenny Dykstra (20 years, 18 days)

World Tag Team Championship

Dykstra first stepped into the ring at age 15, signing with WWE after training in WWE Hall of Famer Killer Kowalski’s school at age 18 and debuting as part of the Spirit Squad on WWE’s main roster at age 19.

Alongside Mikey, Dykstra pulled off the upset against the team of Big Show & Kane to capture the World Tag Team Championships.

2. Rene Dupree (19 years, 6 months)

World Tag Team Championship

It was in 2003 when Dupree alongside La Resistance cohort Sylvain Grenier defeated Rob Van Dam & Kane at Badd Blood to capture the Championship.

Just a year later, he’d win the World Tag Team Championship again at just 20. This time around he teamed with Kenzo Suzuki.

1. Nicholas (10 years)

Raw Tag Team Championship

The most recent addition to the list is 10-year-old competitor Nicholas, who just captured the Championship alongside Braun Strowman at WrestleMania 34 before relinquishing them the day after on Raw due to his commitments as a student.

We here at Wrestling Rumors would like to think that Nicholas won’t be passed any time soon for the youngest Champion in WWE history.
