To wrap up the week. This week was one of the greatest weeks the WWE has ever produced with some great matches, shocking surprises and big returns with everyone putting in their top effort all week long. NXT’s Takeover: New Orleans stole the weekend but this week’s Monday Night Raw featured all kinds of surprises and returns. That’s the case for the post Wrestlemania show more often than not. SmackDown had some moments of its own, but the more important question is how many people who had been hot for WrestleMania stuck around?

Miss this week’s show? Here are some quick highlights.

Top 10 SmackDown LIVE moments: WWE Top 10, April 10, 2018

According to 411mania.com, this week’s episode of SmackDown Live drew a .98 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 2.952 million viewers. These numbers are up 24% and 19% over last week’s .79 rating and 2.467 million viewers. The rating was the highest since March 20 when Daniel Bryan announced his return, which the audience was the highest since April 11, 2017 in the second half of the Superstar Shakeup. This week’s show was headlined by Daniel Bryan vs. AJ Styles for the first time ever in WWE.

Here are some live notes from this week’s show.

Opinion: There was no secret to the fact that this match was more of a wrestling show instead of a shock and awe show, which makes sense. There were so many new and returning names that showed up the previous night so why do the same thing on SmackDown? If nothing else those people can be swapped over to Raw in the Shakeup, which unfortunately made this week’s show feel a little less important. At least we got some big moments though and that makes up for the lack of the surprises and moments.
