Taiji Ishimori Reportedly No Longer With Impact Wrestling

Ringside News is reporting that former Impact X-Division Champion Taiji Ishimori will no longer be working for Impact Wrestling.

This news comes following the introduction of Ishimori into the Bullet Club recently at New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Wrestling Dontaku show. More details on that here.

Dave Meltzer responded to a fan on Twitter to clarify what the situation currently is between Impact Wrestling and Ishimori, given his NJPW appearance and his appearances still on Impact TV.

Meltzer confirmed Ishimori is done with the promotion and this was pre-recorded content for tapings. The Japenese Superstar is set to be a huge star alongside the other members of the Bullet Club faction.

Ishimori is expected to take part in The Best Of The Super Juniors tournament that begins shortly. A feud with Will Ospreay also appears to be on the horizon.
