EC3 Files Documents to Legally Trademark His Name

As first reported by Pro Wrestling Sheet, Impact Wrestling superstar EC3 has filed documents to legally trademark his name.

Last week, EC3 filed trademark documents that state he wants to use the name for “Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Entertainment services in the nature of live visual and audio performances by an actor.”

In addition, the documents do note that he wants to use the name for “conducting fitness classes,” which he has been doing with the Hard Knocks gym on social media.

Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that they were told Impact’s recent public statements which stated that wrestlers are allowed to own their own characters after leaving Impact Wrestling gave the former Impact Grand Champion his final chance to lock the name down.

If everything goes to plan, EC3 should legally own his name within the next few months. Wrestling Rumors will keep you updated as new information develops in this case.
