Well that’s…..interesting. Last night’s episode of “Impact Wrestling” was a Best of 2017 episode, which nearly guarantees a smaller audience. That being said, Impact Wrestling is never quite the normal wrestling show and it could be interesting to see what kind of an audience such a show drew.

According to 411mania.com, this week’s episode of “Impact Wrestling” drew a .04 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 269,000 viewers. These numbers are up 100% and 67% from last week’s .02 rating and 161,000 viewers. This show was the highest viewed since the November 16 episode, which drew 272,000 viewers.

Here’s one of the major features from last night’s show.

IMPACT India A Monumental Success in 2017 | #IMPACTICYMI Dec. 21st, 2017

Opinion: I know the lack of “Thursday Night Football” helped things but it’s not the best sign in the world when your Best Of show is drawing better than your regular television show. There’s more to it than that of course but the strange cases of “Impact Wrestling” audiences continues to astound me. They better go this high on January 4, because if they’re not in better shape then, things are going to become a problem in a hurry.

What was the best part of “Impact Wrestling” in 2017? What are you looking forward to most next year?
