The unlikely friendship between heels Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens has captured the interest of fans, making them the main attraction on Monday Night Raw for weeks now. They’re electric in promos together, they created many memorable moments based around the List of Jericho, and they’ve teamed up to pick on Tom Phillips and other commentators.
However, lately there’s been trouble in paradise. It seems like this bromance is right on the edge of breaking apart. There was already strain caused by their egos clashing, but lately it seems that Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins have been helping the fracture grow.

The situation has nearly reached its boiling point, which means it’s about time for Jericho and Owens to go head-to-head. According to Cageside Seats, the pro wrestling rumor mill says there’s a Chris Jericho vs. Kevin Owens program in the works. This would take place just before Jericho leaves in 2017 to focus on his band Fozzy.
Supposedly the plan is for Jericho to have a face turn by the first of the year. In the process, a fight would start and lead to a match with his former best friend Owens. There’s not much time left in 2016, so all that’s left for now is to wait and see.
What do you think? Is it a shame that their friendship had to go out like this, or are you excited at a potential match between these two powerhouses of charisma? Let us know in the comments or on our Facebook page.
