CM Punk is obviously sick of fans calling for his WWE return, and we can’t really blame him. After all, he’s enjoying his life as mediocre UFC fighter, comic book writer, and Walking Dead enthusiast Phil Brooks.

But wrestling fans are nothing if not persistent, and one finally got the former WWE Champion to divulge his totally real plans to definitely return to pro wrestling.

John Cena is set to return to SmackDown on December 27th in Chicago, Punk’s hometown. That prompted this question on Twitter, which Punk responded to with absolute sincerity.

Huge secret, though, so keep it quiet. Kayfabe, you know.
