World Extreme Wrestling, a promotion owned by WWE Hall of Famer Afa the Wild Samoan, has issued the following release on its website. In the release, it discusses WWE signing one of the company’s wrestlers, Noah Kekoa.

“Breaking News! WXW Superstar and former heavyweight champion Noah Kekoa has been signed by WWE!

Noah Kekoa came to the Wild Samoan Pro-Wrestling Training Center as the winner of a Full Scholarship contest offered by the world-renowned wrestling school. Learning from WWE Hall of Famer Afa the Wild Samoan, he began wrestling for WXW and quickly made a name for himself. His height, his impressive Polynesian tattoos, and his wrestling ability made this young Hawa’iian a standout star, and the WXW Heavyweight Champion. His signature phrase: “Just Watch!” takes on a whole new meaning now, be sure to “JUST WATCH” him in the next big step in his professional wrestling career!

On behalf of Afa the Wild Samoan, the Wild Samoan Pro-Wrestling Training Center and WXW Wrestling, congratulations to Noah!”

Not much is known about Kekoa at this time other than he resides in Florida due to the promotion’s location. He is not far from the WWE Performance Center in Tampa, Fla., which likely worked in his benefit. He has also been the promotion’s champion in the past.

Editor’s Note:

Looks like another harmless signing by WWE. They can usually never go wrong with someone in the Samoan circle, and it looks to be the case here. Maybe he’ll wind up on the new season of  “WWE Tough Enough?”
