WWE Hall of Famer Tammy “Sunny” Sytch has been the subject of controversy over the past several years, and it appears she still is having a degree of difficulty with her personal life.
The Wrestling Observer is reporting Sytch was scheduled to appear at the Cauliflower Alley Club convention this past weekend, but chose not to show up. The convention is one of the largest annual wrestling conventions in the United States, and honors some of the business’ best and legends of the squared circle. Sytch, however, decided to no-show.
Furthermore, it is said she did not contact the promoter who scheduled her for the show. Not only that, but she was reached out to for her appearance as well, and did not return any calls. She had been scheduled to present a seminar at the convention for several months, but gave no reason for her pulling out of the convention.
Sytch recently battled cancer, but noted in November the cancer had not spread. She also recently criticized WWE Divas heavily, claiming none of them had her charisma.
Editor’s Note
Unfortunate hearing what has happened to her. She was a legend in the industry, but has clearly put little emphasis on staying involved with it. Hopefully she can get her personal life together.
