NXT has been a major force in the Orlando, Fla. area, taping its weekly television show at Full Sail University. The setup has been so impressive, that according to new reports, WWE may be looking to do more with the facility.

F4WOnline.com reports the company is currently discussing taping an episode of WWE programming at the NXT Arena, likely “Monday Night Raw.” This would be a way to get the majority of the main roster at the intimate facility, where some of its fans display their hardcore love for WWE and NXT programming.

Following the launch of the WWE Network, the company announced NXT would be holding live specials, such as “NXT ArRIVAL” and “NXT Takeover” from the facility. The events went over very well, and were considered to be a major success from within the company.

Per the report, it is unlikely WWE will hold the taping in 2014, and will look to make it a major part of the 2015 scheduled programming if it comes to fruition.

Editor’s Note

Tremendous idea. It would be a great way to incorporate NXT talent with the main roster, and beckon back to the days of small, intimate crowds in wrestling.
