After being exiled from the games for the past seven months, the sport of wrestling will now be welcomed back to the 2020 Olympics.

Wrestling received a majority of the votes with 49, followed by baseball/softball with 24 and squash with 22.

The International Governing Body (FILA) made drastic changes after wrestling was axed back in February, including adopting rule changes to make the sport easier to grasp and follow.

The addition of music and lighting will be included before the 2016 games to make the sport more entertaining.
