WWE Superstar Evan Bourne has made his long-awaited return to action after a lengthy time away from the ring.

Bourne made his return during the NXT event in Tampa, Florida, taking on Sammy Sane – also known as El Generico.

Evan Bourne has not featured on WWE television since January 2012, after which Bourne was suspended for sixty days following his second violation of the company’s wellness policy. He was due to return in March of the same year, however he was then involved in a car accident that saw him break his foot in four separate places. Bourne has been recovering from the accident since.
