Update: Wade Barrett Will Face Miz at WrestleMania

The official WWE website has updated the card for WrestleMania 29, and it includes a brand new title defense. Wade Barrett will defend the Intercontinental Championship against The Miz.

The Miz has been seeking WWE gold for months now, coming up short against United States Champion Antonio Cesaro at both this year’s Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber pay-per-view events. He then turned his sights on the Intercontinental title – a belt the “Awesome One” has worn around his waste before. While Barrett stole a victory over Miz and Chris Jericho several weeks ago on Monday Night Raw, the Miz would get his redemption with a submission win over the champ, locking him in the Figure Four!

Surprisingly, the Undertaker isn’t the only man looking to keep his streak together this April. The Miz holds a victory over John Cena, has successfully defended tag team gold with the Big Show, and took Team Johnny to victory at WrestleMania last year. Will Miz be able to go 4-0 in 2013 – who will leave WrestleMania with the Intercontinental title?
