Following up on a report from Tuesday night claiming that that Shawn Michaels may be interested in a return to the ring, it is said that WWE only has one opponent in mind for him should he decide to do so.

PWInsider.com says that while the ball is entirely in Michael’s court about a return to the ring, the only plans the company has for him would be a match with Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania XXX. The wheel was put in motion at the Hell In A Cell pay-per-view when Michaels hit Sweet Chin Music on Bryan, costing him the match.

The promo that occurred between CM Punk and Michaels this past monday on Monday Night Raw was said to merely have been to delay a potential Punk/Triple H confrontation. That match is also potentially in the cards for WrestleMania 30 as well. The report claims Michaels would not be utilized in a tag match, even if it were in the form of D-Generation X.

Michaels helped train Bryan to become a professional wrestler more than a decade ago, and their past has been hinted at many times on television. Their most recent incident occurred two weeks ago, when Bryan hit Michaels with a running knee to close out Raw.
